It is the evening of July 1st, Mariusz and I arrived in the afternoon. We are now settled into a wonderfully luxurious apartment the Lord has provided for us here in Zakopane. Marek will soon be on his way from Szczecin. He is taking the overnight train and will arrive tired but valued about nine tomorrow morning.
Mariusz offered the most amusing observation. As we rode the bus we passed through the town of Poronin just before we arrived. Historically the infamous Vladimir Illyich Ulyanov, better known by his alias Vladimir Lenin, was here in Poronin and Zakopane recovering from tuberculosis during the time he wrote his Communist Manifesto.
It remains to be seen what the Lord will give us grace to create over the next few days. We pray whatever it may turn out to be, it will be a blessing for all who read or hear or watch it, unlike the Communist manifesto.
